Hare credited Portman's partnership with global travel
management company RADIUS for contributing to the growth of Portman
in recent years; Hare was appointed to its board of directors
earlier this year. Portman Travel is one of three major
shareholders in RADIUS and as such has contributed to a
multi-million dollar investment in the company (announced July
2011), which will be utilised for technology development and to
expand the data management and reporting capabilities and
consolidation of travel programmes as the company continues to
grow.
Technology, skilled personnel, innovation and the personal touch
have also played a pivotal role in the company's success.
