Portman Travel announced the winners of its second annual
'Portman Professional Awards' last week, rewarding employees who
performed above and beyond over the past 12 months.
Involving all 500+ employees from across the company, the
exceptional performance of individuals and teams throughout the UK,
Ireland and the Netherlands was recognised through nominations for
each of the 11 carefully chosen categories, including the all
important, CEO's Star of the Year Award.
Announced at an exclusive luncheon, which was held at the
Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge on Friday 3 February, David
Bishop, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Claire Hillier,
Chertsey Operations, took the CEO's Star of the Year honours for
their outstanding contribution to Portman Travel during 2011 and
their dedication to their role and their fellow employees.
The awards were the second of their kind held by Portman Travel
and are part of its commitment to reward and recognise the superior
work being done by its employees on a continuous basis.
Michael Hare, Chief Executive Officer of Portman Travel, said:
"Portman Travel's success as one of the UK's leading travel
management companies is only possible because of the hard work,
professional expertise and outstanding levels of service given to
clients by our employees. My congratulations to the winners of this
year's Professional Awards."
