Automatically generated at the time of booking, this web-empowered unique new product offers valuable travel and destination information and travel services that bring you control and content in a single solution for your total travel requirements.

So, how does it work?

Once a booking has been made you will receive your personalised Portman Trip Planner e-confirmation email. Combining our leading-edge technology and our expertise in travel management, the PTP brings all your key travel information plus an array of useful tools that are accessible by any mobile device that has an internet connection - so you have access wherever and whenever you need it. Our complete one stop solution is fully compliant across iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows and Android platforms.

This dynamic new service allows you to manage your trips straight from your email itinerary - perfect for business people on the go. Everything you need specific to your trip is provided in one place making travel planning easy.

	1. Receive your personal itinerary email after making a booking either online or over the phone. With your itinerary you can: - Share your itinerary with Facebook - Sync your itinerary with your Outlook calendar - Print your itinerary - Forward on your itinerary - Register for text alerts
	2. For traveller tools, click on 'Your Trip Information' to access: - City Guides - Online Check In - Baggage allowance details - Maps - Currency ... and more... You can also access this information by scrolling down the email and clicking on 'Things to do'.
	3. When clicking through from your email to your personal Portman Trip Planner, you will view a summary of your itinerary. To access traveller tools and services such as city guides and currency converter, please click on the 'Overview' button in the top right of your Portman Trip Planner.

All this is also available through your mobile device provided you have access to your emails and an internet connection.

PTP empowers you by giving you access to useful and timely information in an easy to use real time system, saving you time and effort spent searching for information in various different sources. At your fingertips you will have instant access to personalised, continually updated valuable destination information including flight status, weather and currency conversion.

We are dedicated to empowering travellers and are working on exciting developments that will allow you to book transportation, entertainment and restaurants and access route planners, baggage allowance information and a lot more. You can complete airline check-in from the system and the PTP syncs with Outlook for easy scheduling, avoiding the usual process of uploading various itineraries to a more traditional trip planner product. As well as mobile versions and smart phone alerts, print versions and trip summaries are provided so information can be accessed across a variety of sources wherever there is internet access. You also benefit from seamless integration with mobile devices and Short Message Service (SMS) alerts that are useful for today's busy travellers.
