Medical Assistance
Portman Medical is a unit dedicated to arranging the swift and
efficient repatriation of people who have suffered some form of
medical emergency while abroad. Every solution is bespoke, because
every case is different. Whether it is a mugging, a skiing accident
or a tropical disease, our response will be rapid, intelligent,
efficient and comprehensive.
After taking medical advice, we'll arrange for immediate
transfer to a local medical facility, and then on to a suitable
airport. For stretcher cases, we will arrange clearance for the
ambulance to drive up to the aircraft, and if necessary arrange a
lift to get the patient into the plane.
Our medical team are not only adept at dealing with the
logistics involved in such cases, but do so with sensitivity and
tact. They care about what they do and understand the potential
consequences should they get it wrong.
